Great Barford is located on the A421 about 3.5 miles from the Blackcat Roundabout on the A1 at Wyboston and 4 miles from Bedford Town Centre.

Main line rail stations are located at St.Neots, Sandy Biggleswade and Bedford.
Junction 13 of the M1 motorway is just 30 mins west. A regular hourly bus service operates from the village terminating at Cambridge and Oxford.

Just a short distance away over the picturesque Great Barford bridge is the Route 51 cycle path(and footpath) which extends to Milton Keynes and Sandy. Details are found on the Sustrans website

In September 2006 Great Barford bypass opened, reducing local congestion and making the walk to school much safer.

Most of our pupils travel to and from school by bus provided by the Local Authority. Bus passes are issued to those who are entitled to use this service and all enquires about transport arrangements should be made to the Education Department (Transport Section), County Hall, Bedford. Tel: 01234 363222. Parents bringing or collecting their children to and from school by car at the beginning and end of the school day are asked to park outside the school rather than come into the school grounds in the interest of children’s safety.
